Sails Restaurant is a small, independently owned dining room just a short stroll from Looe Quay on Higher Market Street. We cook the kind of food we love to eat: generous, flavour-packed plates made from quality ingredients, prepared from scratch in our own kitchen.
With just a handful of tables, Sails feels more like a cosy dinner party than a busy restaurant. You’ll often find the owners welcoming guests, topping up glasses and checking every detail is just right.

Chargrilled 8oz Sirloin Steak
Locally sourced, served with hand-cut chips, grilled tomato, field mushroom and a choice of peppercorn or blue cheese sauce.
Garlic Butter King Prawns
Sautéed in white wine, chilli and garlic, with dressed leaves and crusty bread.
Grilled Catch of the Day
Fresh from Looe harbour, simply prepared to let the fish shine.
Sunday Roasts
Join us on Sundays for one of Looe’s favourite roasts – perfectly cooked meats, crisp roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and seasonal vegetables, all served with rich homemade gravy.
